Back in the Idaho Press!

Some of you might remember that a few months back, someone tried to get one of my books banned from a library in Idaho - and it was a slow enough news week in Boise that it made every news outlet out there. Well, I'm back in the Idaho press, but this time they just want to say

Book Pleasures Review

The sarcasm and wit in every sentence of this book is truly remarkable...a truly great comic ride.

Cover Photo Shoot Outtakes

Here's a cool find:

The Original Photos From the Shoot where the cover shot was taken. Zombie not included. This should also clear up the rumor that Emma Watson was the girl on the cover.

Thanks to Michelle the Book Junkie for pointing this out.

The Undercover Book Lover Review

Written with an addictive, funny prose, I Kissed a Zombie and I Liked It is a fun, crazy, parody. And in irony to that, it has deep messages that interconnect with our lives today. It's a whole blend of comedy, cleverness, and paranormal!

Books That Bite review

"This is the best fun I've seen poked at teen paranormal romance ever... it was refreshing to read about a female protagonist that can be in love, but still see the flaws in her boyfriend."

Full review (minor spoilers)

It's a very interesting thing: I think that in any OTHER year everyone who saw the title and cover would realize right away that it's a satire (or at least that it's a comedy), but this year, with SO much paranormal romance on the shelves, a great many readers who see the ads or see the book in stores don't seem to realize that this isn't just another one of those! Strange!

The Soundtrack Is Ready!

As promised, the "soundtrack" Ep of songs "from an inspired by" the book is now ready - and you can download it fee.

Check it all out on The Soundtrack Page. Full tracklists and lyric links are there!

Rounding out the soundtrack are two late additions: "Some Girls," by the awesome urban fantasist Seanan McGuire, who also writes zombie books under the name Mira Grant, and a rocking song by the great rock journalist Peter Stone Brown
